UiS has an Erasmus agreement within the Department of Computer Science at the International Faculty of Engineering (IFE).

Information about the university
Lodz is the third- largest city in Poland and one of the most multicultural and industrial centres in Europe. TUL is one of the biggest technical universities in Poland with about 18000 students; The University is composed of nine faculties and the International Faculty of Engineering is an interfaculty unit which enables interdisciplinary studies. The IFE welcomes nearly 1400 students per year, 25 % of whom are international.

Language requirements
English proficiency recommended at minimum B2 level (read upper-intermediate = 4 in English from “vgs for Norwegian students).

Students who do not meet the language requirements will be offered online language courses prior the exchange period.

ECTS credits abroad
1 ECTS = 1 Norwegian study point (Studiepoeng)

Students can apply for a room in one of the University dormitories; the number of places are limited but the University tries to guarantee accommodation to every international student applying. For more information about accommodation at TUL, click here.
Apply for accommodation here when you are completing your application for exchange at TUL.

Norwegian students do not need to apply for visa when travelling to Europe. Students who do not hold Norwegian citizenship must check themselves if they need to apply for Visa.
