Information about the university
Krakow is one of the most culturally and politically significant city in Poland. Jagiellonian University is composed of 16 faculties. The University is a large higher education institutions with has about 44000 students and The campus of the Jagiellonian University is centrally located within the city of Kraków.

Language of instruction

Language requirements
English proficiency recommended at minimum B2 level.

Students who do not meet the language requirements will be offered online language courses prior the exchange period.

Total number of study places
3 per semester (between BA in Nordic, English and History studies)

Tuition fee (Skolepenger)
Student doing exchange within Erasmus + are exempted from tuition fees

Erasmus + or EEA scholarship in combination with loan and grant from Lånekassen for eligible students

Autumn semester: October-February
Spring semester: End of February-late June

30 ECTS = 30 studiepoeng

The number of places in student dormitories is limited, therefore you should apply for a place as soon as possible. Please note that you cannot apply before you have receive the acceptance letter from the University. For more information about dormitory application, please click here

Norwegian students do not need to apply for visa when travelling to Europe. Students who do not hold Norwegian citizenship must check themselves if they need to apply for Visa.
