Information about the university
Lisbon is the capital and the largest city of Portugal; Instituto Superior Técnico also called Técnico Lisboa was founded in 1911 and is a renowned institution offering higher education in the fields of Architecture, Engineering and Science and Technology. It has three campuses and courses in Engineering are hold at Alameda campus and has about 11500 students.

Language requirements
English proficiency recommended at minimum B2 level (read upper-intermediate = 4 in English) from “vgs” for Norwegian students)

Students who do not meet the language requirements will be offered online language courses prior the exchange period.

GPA requirements (karakterkrav)
No GPA required

Total number of study places
2 students per semester in MA Materials and Structural Engineering – specialisation “construction” (MA  i Materialer og konstruksjoner – spesialisering  bygg)

Tuition fee (skolepenger)
Student doing exchange within Erasmus + are exempted from tuition fees

Scholarship
Erasmus + in combination with loan and grant from Lånekassen for eligible students

Spring semester: From mid-February to late June

Norwegian students do not need to apply for visa when travelling to Europe. Students who do not hold Norwegian citizenship must check themselves if they need to apply for Visa.
