Information about the university
 IPLS operates on three campuses located near Rennes, Beauvais, and Rouen, France. 
The 3 campuses is home to over 2800 students and UniLaSalle offers a range of academic programs at Bachelor's and Master's levels in the fields below:

  • The UniLaSalle Rennes campus:Environmental Science, Environmental Management and Engineering Sustainable Development​​
  • The UniLaSalle Beauvais campus: Agronomy and Agro-Industry engineering, Food and Health engineering, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Geosciences

Language of instruction

Language requirements
English proficiency recommended at minimum B2 level (read upper-intermediate = 4 in English from “vgs for Norwegian students).

Students who do not meet the language requirements will be offered online language courses prior the exchange period.

No GPA required

Total number of study places
2 for students for Master in Environmental Sciences (Rennes campus or (Beauvais campus)
2 students for Bachelor and Master in Earth Sciences (Petroleum Geology - Beauvais Campus)

Tuition fee (skolepenger)
Student doing exchange within Erasmus + are exempted from tuition fees

Erasmus + in combination with loan and grant for eligible students through Lånekassen

Academic year
Autumn semester: September – December/January
Spring semester: January – June/July (May for students in “Water and Environmental Management)

How to find subjects

NB: students at Bachelor level must have completed their second year in order to apply for the Geology Field Course; applications are to be sent per mail to utveksling@uis.no (deadline: 15th of January)

ECTS credits abroad
1 ECTS = 1 Norwegian Study point (Studiepoeng)

Students can apply for a room on the campus at the University dormitories; The International Office assists students for application and allocation of rooms.
Check the section housing for respective campus (Rennes / Beauvais) in their international student guide.

Norwegian students do not need to apply for visa when travelling to Europe. Students who do not hold Norwegian citizenship must check themselves if they need to apply for Visa.
