The bilateral agreement signed between UiS and ITAM concerns Bachelor and Master students in Business Administration (Økonomi og Administrasjon) at UiS Business School.
Attn: Master students must obtain approval from a lecturer in order to apply.


Information about the university

Ranked amongst the top universities in Mexico and all throughout Latin America, ITAM is an institution of higher education, offering high-level training in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Law, Engineering, Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting.
ITAM comprises about 5,500 undergraduate and 800 graduate students and has facilities on two campuses: Río Hondo and Santa Teresa campuses.

English Language proficiency equivalent to “4” on transcript of records from high school (VGS)
Students, who do not meet the requirements for English proficiency must as an alternative, take either IELTS or TOEFL tests.

ECTS credits abroad
minimum of 4 subjects per semester to be considered a full time student.
6 ITAM credits = between 5 and 7 ECTS credits = 1 ECTS = 1 studiepoeng  

Accommodation
Housing is not owned or operated by ITAM but the International Office provides assistance by finding off-campus housing options. There are many fully furnished student residences within walking distance from ITAM.
The International Office works with each individual student to find the preferred accommodation but once selected, the student is directly responsible for the lease.

Visa
Students staying more than 180 days need to apply for visa. Inquiries related to study permit and visa are to be directly addressed to The Mexican Embassy in Oslo.
