The general entry requirement is a relevant bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 30 ECTS in mathematics and statistics. It is necessary that applicants have taken subjects related to engineering, technical, and operational aspects of Engineering facilities/systems and processes in their Bachelor degrees to qualify for the program.

 

A bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering/technology, manufacturing technology/engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering and civil structural engineering will be given priority in the evaluation process.

 

Those with other bachelor degrees in engineering such as Electrical & Electronic, Civil, Environmental, Petroleum, Energy, etc., may also be considered if they have taken adequate number of relevant subjects OR have relevant technical and operational industrial experience related to Engineering systems and processes.

 

Applicants must demonstrate competitive academic standards and achievements to qualify. The Faculty has set a minimum average grade of 3,0 (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1) for admittance. For international students, normally, the entry requirement is equivalent to a Second Class Upper Division or better. Applicants with grade levels equivalent to Second Class Lower Division, or lower, will not be considered for admission. Proficiency in English language is required.
