It is an international trend that greater emphasis is placed on cooperation between education and working life. Rapid, significant, and unpredictable changes in technology, work, and social life are an important reason for the increasing awareness of the need to increase work-relevant education in universities.
In this regard, UiS established InGenious, an agreement with ECIU (European Consortium of Innovative Universities) partners with the aim of giving students the opportunity and experience to work with real-life challenges formulated by industry, society and the business community.
Through this Challenge Based Learning program, students are given the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary teams and think outside the box, develop their soft skills, build a network towards future career opportunities, come up with innovative solutions and receive 10 ECTS.
In fall 2020, all master students at UiS are able to sign up for the InGenious challenges by taking the MĂA-415 (Knowledge -Based Entrepreneurship) course.
