This list gives you an overview of much used databases within Science and Technology. The list is divided into two parts, reference databases and full text databases. In the reference databases, you will find information about literature within your field of study. In the full text databases there is an overview of documents that are available (full text) online.

Free edition of Medline, which is a database within health and biomedical research. PubMed gives access to abstracts from Medline.
SciFinder (Chemical Abstracts)
Covers chemistry, chemical engineering, petroleum, biotechnology and materials science. You can search for articles, but also for chemical substances and reactions.
Full text databases
AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) Datapages is the digital publisher for AAPG and has journals within geoscience and petroleum. Articles in full text from most of the journals from AAPG.
Academic Search Premier
Database with journal articles within most subject areas.
This database from the American Chemical Society provides the worldwide scientific community with a comprehensive collection of the most-cited, peer-reviewed journals in the chemical and related sciences.
APS (American Physical Society)
Database where you can search in different journals within the field of physics.
