Guidance on EndNote

EndNote searces and obtains references from library catalogues and on-line databases, and creates correct citations and reference lists.

EndNote may be used on both PC and Mac, but we recommend you to use Zotero if you have a Mac.

Remove the link between EndNote and Word before submitting!
Before you send your paper or thesis to your teacher, you must remove the link between EndNote and Word. Click here to see how to do this.

Ask the library for assistance on doing this if there are any problems!

Be aware when using OnePetro!
Unfortunately, EndNote does not work properly in this database. Some essential fields are not filled out, and there may be errors in what is being completed. Check references imported from OnePetro carefully, and make sure to correct anything that is not correct! Optionally, you can enter references from OnePetro manually in EndNote.
