We ask all attendees to always follow the infection preventions guidelines from FHI. Please stay at home if you have corona-like symptoms. EndNote

This workshop helps you get started with EndNote. We will go through how to create a library in EndNote, and how to sort your references in folders. We will look at how to create references manually and how to import them from different databases. We will also go through how EndNote interacts with Word.

LaTeX 1: Introduction to LaTeX
This workshop is for people with no previous experience with LaTeX. Learn how to set up a document and its structure, table of contents, how to insert pictures, lists, tables, mathematical equations and cross references. We will also look at typical errors and how to avoid them.

LaTeX 2Handling references and large documents
This workshop is for people who can handle the basics in LaTeX, who have been through the LaTeX introduction or is at a similar level, and who want to learn more about reference management and how to handle larger documents, like a thesis, using LaTeX. We will look at how we can use reference management software like Zotero and EndNote in combination with Overleaf, and how we can separate different chapters into separate files and combine them into one file at the end.

NVivo

This workshop will go through the basic functions of NVivo. You will get to know the user interface and learn how to import different kinds of data. You will learn different methods of coding, and how to use the coding to make various queries. We will also go through how you can visualize your data. Requires sign up.

Tableau

This is an introduction workshop for people that have never used Tableau before. The workshop will go through data management and what to keep in mind when you are working with data and visual communication. We will go through the Tableau user interface and how to create graphs, storyboards and stories, before we work on example data sets or your own data if you prefer.

Zotero

This workshop will get you started with Zotero and teach you how to use Zotero to manage your references and to correctly format your citations and reference list. We will go through how to import references, and sort them as well as how to share your Zotero library with others. For our digital classes we are available in Zoom 30 minuttes before the class starts.
