Students can withdraw from an examination up unitl 14 days before the date of the examination. For resit/deferred examinations the deadline is 7 days before the date of the exam. If you withdraw within these deadlines the examination registration will not be registered as an attempt at taking the examination. Oral notification of a withdrawal is not valid. If a candidate who has registered for examination withdraws after the stipulated deadline or does not attend the examination without valid reason, it is considered as an attempt.
If you withdraw before an ordinary examination you are not entitled to take the resit/deferred examination.
Students can withdraw from the submission of a bachelor or master's thesis later than 1 April or 1 November in the semester the student has enrolled.
How to withdraw
Go to Registrations on the StudentWeb - and click on the red cross behind the current registration. The red cross will disappear once the deadline has expired.
