There are no more than 20 places in each class, so be there in good time.
Basic class for those of you who want to use the writing software LaTeX. The class will be adapted for students and staff at the Faculty for Science and Technology, but other interested students and staff are also welcome.
We will be using Overleaf, an online LaTeX-editor, during the class. You don't need to download any software before the class, but you should sign up for a user and be ready to start new projects. You sign up here: https://www.overleaf.com/register

EndNote is a useful tool for managing references and creating bibliographies in Word.
There will be EndNote classes in English for master students and staff the following dates, in room KE A-253. There is no need to sign up:
- 30th of January, 09.15 - 11.00 (PC)
- 21st of February, 09.15 - 11.00 (Mac)
Zotero is a free and open program that helps you to insert correct references into your text as well as a correct bibliography. It may be a bit easier to use than EndNote, and requires less technical skills. Because of this it is recommended for students at all levels.
There will be Zotero classes in English on the following dates, in room KE A-253. There is no need to sign up:
- 5th of February, 09.15 - 11.00
- 7th of March, 13.15 - 15.00
Introduction to useful software
A new offer this term is workshops on the software NVivo, Tableau and Adobe InDesign. They will be on a very basic level, so no prior knowledge is necessary. Participation is free, but requires signing up.
