Public guest lecture on geothermal energy

In the third of our public guest lectures about energy and sustainability, Jon Ă–rn Jonsson will give an introduction to geothermal energy, and speak about its rise and potential in Eastern Africa.

Jon Ă–rn Jonsson works for Reykjavik Geothermal (RG) and is RG's 'Country Manager' for Ethiopia. He has worked with Geothermal energy for several years, and has direct experience from projects in Africa, Arabia, India and Iceland.

Come learn about one of the few renewable energy sources which is not powered by the sun - and its potential contribution to the energy transition.
