Borrow a tablet!

Norway's first Hublet, a lending service for tablets, is now available at the University Library.

Master student Sriffi Zukhrufany borrows a tablet. "This is an offer I will use. Now I can read the curriculum in the sofa!," says master student Sriffi Zukhrufany.

Hublet is a Finnish invention for lending of tablets. The hublet contains tablet, charging station and management software.

Librarian Marte Pupe Støyva demonstrates how easy it is to borrow a tablet at the University Library:

"If you have a library card, you can borrow a tablet when ever you want to, we are open 24 hours a day. You can borrow the tablet for up to eight hours. The Hublet ensures that the tablet is charged and updated."

The tablet can be used to surf the web or read e-books. The university library has a large collection of electronic books.

The tablets are already very popular in the library. Master student Sriffi Zukhrufany is curious about the offer and borrows a tablet. "This is an offer I will use. Now I can read the curriculum in the sofa!," says Zukhrufany.
